How to import Salesforce data to Excel with XL-Connector

Export an existing Salesforce report
Set the behavior of the report when being refreshed
Write a timestamp with the last time our report was run.
Edit the report’s filters in Salesforce or locally.

Build a SOQL query
Select an object and check the fields to pull
-Include filters in your query
-Create new worksheets.

‘Refresh’ feature
-We can choose to refresh the current sheet or all sheets in our workbook.
