This page contains a collection of answers to the most frequently asked questions about privacy we receive from our users. If you find that your privacy concern is not addressed here, please let us know at email@example.com and we’ll update this policy with the missing information.
Our goal is to provide our customers with a seamless experience of working with their Salesforce data in the most popular spreadsheet environments (Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets). We will never access more of your data than we need to conduct the business or use the data for anything rather than presenting it to you in your favorite spreadsheet program. We need to know your name and email address to conduct the business, but we will never sell them or provide to any third party.
How do you use my email address?
The only purpose we may use your email address for is to communicate with you about what’s going on in your account and occasionally send you product updates and announcements. You may opt out of any product update and announcement emails by clicking on Unsubscribe button at the bottom of such email. Subscription-related emails are only sent to our paid subscribers. The only way to unsubscribe from our subscription-related emails is to cancel your subscription with us. We also store your Salesforce.com and Microsoft email addresses encrypted in our secure database. This database is only used by the XL-Connector 365 application to perform its business logic.
Do you have access to my Salesforce data?
Having access to your Salesforce data is essential to provide the services. After you grant us such access, the XL-Connector 365 application will be able to log in to Salesforce on your behalf and refresh your spreadsheet data from it, even when you’re offline. We do not use this access for any other purpose.
Do you have access to my OneDrive documents?
Having access to your OneDrive documents is essential to provide the services. After you grant us such access, the XL-Connector 365 application will be able to log in to Microsoft OneDrive on your behalf and populate your spreadsheet on your behalf with data from Salesforce, even when you’re offline. We do not use this access for any other purpose.
