Where do I find Security Token?

IF YOU HAVE OTHER APPLICATIONS USING YOUR SFDC LOGIN, DO NOT RESET YOUR SECURITY TOKEN. Instead, find the existing one that’s in your email history (a new one is sent every time you reset your SFDC password).

If you’ve never gotten/used a security token before,

  • Login to Salesforce.com using your browser.
  • Click on your name in the masthead area of the Salesforce page.
  • select My Settings -> Personal.

You’ll see a Reset My Security Token link there. Once clicked – the security token will be sent to your e-mail.

Note: You don’t need a security token for orgs with IP Restrictions enabled.

If for some reason you don’t have a security token, or just don’t want to enter your credentials anywhere except Salesforce.com – you can always log in using Web interface. To do that simply click the little arrow under the Log in button and select ‘Web login’
